Kangana Attacks Alia Again Criticising Her Performance In Gully Boy. Now It’s Just Personal, We Think

There was an entire phase, where I as part of my job to check on what’s trending, would only wake up to one name being in the news – Kangana Ranaut. The fierce and fearless actress, who might be bringing her A-game with movies like Queen and Manikarnika in her repertoire, perhaps has a bone to pick with several people in her personal life.

Alia Bhatt, her latest and by the looks of it, her favourite target off late has been at the receiving end of quite a lot of harsh words and drama from the Manikarnika actress. In a poll that was conducted by BollywoodLife recently asking fans to vote for the best performance by a female actor in 2019, Kangana emerged as the winner with 37% votes for Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi while Alia was a close second at 33% votes.

When the actress was further asked by the publication how she felt about beating the Gully Boy Actress, she said, “I am embarrassed…What is there to beat in Gully Boy performance ….same snappy muh phat girl… Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media have taken filmy kids love too far. Stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised.”

And this wasn’t the first time she was taking a dig at Alia Bhatt. Not too long ago, kangana made a bunch of remarks at Alia calling her ‘KJo’s puppet’ and asking her to grow a spine, when she did not stand in support for Manikarnika. Kangana did not stop there, she then lashed out at Alia’s beau Ranbir Kapoor, calling him apolitical, which he had the right to be.

This time around though, seems like there was no holding back, as the actress went ahead to condemn Alia Bhatt’s award-winning performance. While we understand that criticism from colleagues is part and parcel of the job, this seems less of a professional opinion and more of a personal vendetta she has going against Alia Bhatt.

Although Alia has handled the situation with maturity before, this sparks as more of a ‘Mar Jayengi tu’ situation and we can’t wait to see how she responds to Kangana.
