PornHub And RedTube Find A Way To Comeback To India. We Are Saying Oh Yes!
I still distinctly remember, I was in an 11th Business Studies session when I first found out through Maslow’s hierarchy theory, that sex was not the taboo and disgusting thing it was made out to be, but a very basic human need. Right next to the need for food, water and air. That however, was still not enough to convince the government to revoke the ban that they decided to impose on about 857+ porn websites in India. Not like it stopped anyone, for there still were numerous hacks to your R-rated stress busters, but the happiness to find out that two of those websites are back in the game, is unparalleled!

In what has been the highlight of the day for a lot of us, two of the major ragers from the porn video industry – RedTube and PornHub are back in India, by tweaking their domain name to .org & .net. No more sneaking around on the VPN or trying out content from websites you’ve not heard of before through proxies, for two of the most top ranking global portals for porn have found a way to come back to those who missed them the most.

PornHub, that can now be accessed as pornhub.org, and RedTube that can logged on to by using the URL redtube.net, is all due to the sly change in the domain name from .com to that of network and organisation. It was last year in December when telecom operators like Airtel, Jio and the likes of it banned showing pornographic content, and while the youth and many others resisted the decision as much as they could, it still came through (excuse the really bad pun)
Even with these two players coming back in the game, we are hoping more porn will be available for viewing and other pleasures and not get suppressed under the garb of stricter cyber laws. It doesn’t have to be at the expense of our favourite porn websites. But that is a rather ‘We’ll cross that bridge when we get there’ kinda situation. For now, it’s a cause to celebrate!
