The Animal Lovers Edition Of The Australian Firefighters Calendar Is Making Our Ovaries Explode

These last few months have left us feeling extremely miserable and blue. I don’t think I have spoken to anyone who is in the good books of 2020. It’s been a rollercoaster ride. No, not the fun Ferrari World kind. There is too much uncertainty in the air. Mainly about the pandemic. The coronavirus just doesn’t want to leave us alone. However, I don’t need to tell you how excruciatingly difficult it has been living in the times of corona, do I? Instead, what if I told you I have something that will instantly make you feel better? Like, give you a (metaphorical) electric shock of joy? No, I am not messing around. I am talking about the 2021 Australian Firefighters Calendar. Some of the sexiest men I have ever come across.  Of course, after George Clooney and Fawad Khan but you get my drift. 

Before I show you the pictures on the calendar, let me tell you a little something about the initiative. The Australian Firefighters Calendar was established in 1993 to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation, providing funds for research into childhood burns. Until now, it has raised $3.2 million for various charities. I am not surprised. Look at those men *insert ogle-eyes emoji*. Who wouldn’t want multiple copies of that calendar in their house? 

This year, however, the calendar is more important than ever. As you may remember late last year and earlier this year, Australia was engulfed in horrible bushfires. Keeping that in mind, they have come out with their famous “Animal Lovers’ Calendar”. Oh yeah, which means the pictures are drool-worthy men posing with the most adorable animals. It doesn’t get any better than this. One look through this calendar will wash away all your quarantine blues.

In a statement the Australian Firefighter Calendar team told Bored Panda, “2019 and early 2020 was a particularly devastating time, and the world grieved with Australia as we suffered through catastrophic bushfires and an estimated loss of 1 billion animals from our diverse native wildlife. While the fires may have gone, the destroyed bushland has made it impossible for many of the displaced wildlife to return to their natural habitat.” 

Their aim this year is to raise enough funds to help the wildlife that has been injured or displaced due to those harsh fires. 

Now, enough information. It’s time to have some fun. Are you ready to start swooning? I know I have been ever since I came across these uber gorgeous men. Mount Olympus called, they want these Greek God’s back.

I wasn’t exaggerating, was I? Their dreamy smiles coupled with those rock-hard abs and adorable animals is enough to make anyone feel instantly happier. If I ever visit Australia, one of the first places I will visit is the firehouse. They are honestly so jaw-droppingly hot. Okay okay, I am going to hold my horses. Don’t get me wrong, I am not objectifying them but that is honestly a calendar I would want to see in my house. I would just keep flipping through it day in and day out.
