Lisa Haydon Talks About How She Was Asked To Stop Surfing During Her Second Pregnancy And We Love How Real She Is

By  |

We don’t know if you’ve noticed but Bollywood is changing. It’s gradually becoming a place where women are okay to say they are in a relationship, or that they have a problem with losing weight. Actresses do really get candid and honest about what is going on, and it is stuff like this that make us love them even more. A feeling that we’ve recently had for Queen actress Lisa Haydon, who  talked about her second pregnancy in a heartfelt Instagram post.

Baby waves with my baby bump💙 I was gonna post this as my “coming out” pic. But i thought the joy of another addition to our family belonged to all three of us so that’s what was posted instead. Here is a throwback to being #16weeks pregnant with #2. I wrote this a few weeks ago in answer to lots of questions about exercise when preg and nausea .. since writing this post I haven’t done any exercise 😱or even gone for a walk😱. Lots has been eaten though 🐽🐽🐽 and our baby is so far, so good 😊 and that’s all that matters. This first trimester was rough. Nothing like my first pregnancy… surfing was something I had been doing from before and was disappointed at the thought of having to stop. I checked with my doctor who surprisingly approved and said one should carry on as usual. Of course, with precautions. I tried doing other forms of excersize but, All other excersize would make me feel worse – this was practically my only release (and sucking on a Lemon🍋) to feel better from the intense nausea and also get an adrenaline kick- I mean, it’s a high😛. After doing loads of googling on the subject, I found multiple articles on surfing when pregnant.. and was relieved to know I’m not the only one. Positive, I haven’t got many, if any, pregnant surfers following me , but if I do:-) here’s what I learned and followed. 1.) surf on a foam board (unless modelling for first baby photo. Then pose with hard board;-) ) , 2.) try and paddle on your knees … I actually felt nothing when paddling on my stomach, so I did. 3.) don’t go out in crazy surf. 4.) listen to your body and to your doctor. This morning I took a moment to appreciate how much better life is feeling moving on from trimester one… another high. Week 16 was my cutoff to stop and so, Until next year baby waves 🌊💞✌️

The actress who doesn’t just take on bold roles, but is in fact an extension of everything bold and eccentric, is currently pregnant with her second baby and is making headlines by looking just as fierce and happy as ever. And while the actress among many others, is quick and fun to share pictures and details about her journey to become a mother once again, she has also chosen to speak up about the days that are not as merry as they might look.

Lisa Haydon, who’s been a surfing for a while, can be seen holding a surf board at a beach, dressed in a slick black monokini and drops some truth bombs to being pregnant for the second time. She writes, “Baby waves with my baby bump. I was gonna post this as my ‘coming out’ pic. But I thought the joy of another addition to our family belonged to all three of us so that’s what was posted instead. Here is a throwback to being #16weeks pregnant with #2.” Referring to a picture she posted 3 weeks ago of the complete family to announce the fourth member on its way, Lisa used this one to talk about her first and second trimester and how she’s had to cut down on certain things that would earlier be her escape.

She wrote, “I wrote this a few weeks ago in answer to lots of questions about exercise when preg and nausea .. since writing this post I haven’t done any exercise or even gone for a walk. Lots has been eaten though and our baby is so far, so good and that’s all that matters.”

Continuing further on the topic, she went on to say, “This first trimester was rough. Nothing like my first pregnancy… surfing was something I had been doing from before and was disappointed at the thought of having to stop. I checked with my doctor who surprisingly approved and said one should carry on as usual.” And that is a piece of advice that usually works well too, of course in moderation and with considerable care.

Adding more of her first hand advice on the matter, the actress wrote, “I tried doing other forms of exercise but, all other exercises would make me feel worse – this was practically my only release (and sucking on a Lemon) to feel better from the intense nausea and also get an adrenaline kick- I mean, it’s a high. After doing loads of googling on the subject, I found multiple articles on surfing when pregnant.. and was relieved to know I’m not the only one. Positive, I haven’t got many, if any, pregnant surfers following me, but if I do:-) here’s what I learned and followed.”

We loved what Lisa had to share, and so enthusiastically and sentiment too. She wrote, “1.) surf on a foam board (unless modelling for first baby photo. Then pose with hardboard), 2.) try and paddle on your knees… I actually felt nothing when paddling on my stomach, so I did. 3.) don’t go out in crazy surf. 4.) listen to your body and to your doctor. This morning I took a moment to appreciate how much better life is feeling moving on from trimester one… another high. Week 16 was my cutoff to stop and so, Until next year baby waves.”

Now while everyone usually has their own learnings and experiences, we think she is a star to talk about what the tough side of pregnancy because we tend to think it’s all roses and rainbows. We wish the Queen actress a happy and healthy next few months, and hope to see Lisa Haydon hit the beach waves soon enough with the fourth addition in her family tree by her side!
