The Trailer Of Judgemental Hai Kya Is Out, And It’s Going To Be A Fun Ride With Kangana Ranaut!

So there was an entire phase, not very long ago too, when Kangana Ranaut was headlining the news for every publication out there with the numerous digs that she was taking on practically anything in the vicinity of her. From Alia Bhatt to Ranbir Kapoor, the actress was all claws and teeth, to the point we actually started to worry for her. But then it dawned upon us, that it could all be a rather well planned stunt to garner attention for her upcoming film – ‘Judgemental hai kya’, because for her actions, the title seemed befitting.

However, with the trailer now having dropped in, we’re not really sure if our speculation had any truth to it, because to be honest, it seems like a lot of fun. The 2 and a half minute trailer takes us through a crazy ride of one very paranoid and complex Bobby played by Kangana Ranaut, and one suave, smooth-talker Keshav played by Rajkummar Rao. Starting with the monologue of an officer, who feels both puzzled and played by his two murder suspects Keshav and Bobby, this trailer is a ride in itself. An entertaining one, too.

On one side of the story we have Kangana, doing hilariously well as a complex and perceived mental patient, and on the other hand we have Rajkummar Rao, doing complete justice to his role as a smooth operator, where his character moves in right next to Bobby’s apartment. The two are shown to get involved in a murder investigation, mainly as prime suspects, and the kind of defence they put up, including cigarettes to cockroaches in their testimony will leave you in splits.

Last seen together in Queen, which was a grand success, the duo has come back to deliver a movie, which if the trailer is anything to by, is going to be a laugh riot. When Kangana was asked about picking such a role for this movie, the actress shared, “The way my life unfolded in the past few years, I realised there was so much stigma attached to being different. ‘Mental’ or ‘psycho’ were the terms used to shame me, but these can’t be used casually as swear words. When this script came along, I knew I had to do it to break the stigma around it. High time we made individuality aspirational.” And if we were to look back, if there is anyone who can pull off such eccentric and out-of-the-box roles, and make them loved by the nation, it has to be the Manikarnika actress, Kangana Ranaut.

The actress has proven her worth by delivering so well on her roles, she’s brought certain characters like Rani from Queen and Tanu from Tanu weds Manu to life. Which is why we honestly can’t wait for this comic caper to hit the screens, because it looks more than promising! The Prakash Kovelamudi directed and Shobha Kapoor produced film hits the screens on 26th July.
