Alia’s Calm Responses To Kangana’s Barbs Show Her Maturity But Kangana Needs To Stop

Alia Bhatt, the toast of Bollywood at the moment, is gaining respect not only for her work but also winning hearts for handling controversies really well. We say this because while Kangana has been on a rampage, picking on Alia for everything from her boyfriend, to his politics to who she works with,  Alia has been mature beyond her age and her recent respond to Kangana’s dig at her work, is proof.

Kangana Ranaut, an ace actress herself, is known for speaking her mind but is currently only trending for repeatedly attacking Alia. The actress has gone another rampage, stirring trouble for the Gully Boy Alia as though it was the only mission of her life. We still unclear about why Alia Bhatt is her favourite target, but surely she has a bone to pick with her because she’s constantly sending barbs her way. They aren’t even veiled any more. We were hoping Alia’s response to the Manikarnika actress calling her work ‘mediocre’ might give us some juicy bits to write about, but all it gave us was goals about how to keep zen during a cat fight.

When asked about Kangana’s harsh comments on her work, she commented, “I respect Kangana’s work a lot and I respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. And I’d just like to focus on my work. Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough.”

Alia Bhatt further added, “I don’t want to talk about it in the media. As I have said before, I really admire her as an actor and the choices that she makes. She’s a very outspoken person and I admire her for that as well. If I have upset her unintentionally, then I don’t know. Basically, it wasn’t my intention. I didn’t do anything to get a reaction like this.”

The Gully boy actress is displaying maturity that you don’t see regularly and by letting her work speak for her. But we wouldn’t say it is wise for Kangana to continue to test Alia’s patience.  We don’t know when it will backfire. But for now, we have the actress maintaining her calm and dealing with Kangana in the most dignified way possible.
