A Woman Spent Thousands On Dog Tests Because Of His Stinky Farts. Turns Out, It Was The Husband All Along!
When two people spend a lot of time with each other and the relationship progresses, there are certain levels of comfort that they develop. Switching from a sexy dress to a pair of worn out pyjamas, replacing a face full of make up with an actual bare face, ordering a large pizza and fries instead of a pretentious garden salad, and feeling free to fart and burp without blaming the dog for it are just some of the things . You see, as you come closer to your partner, the pressure of looking perfect fall by the wayside and you feel more relaxed around each other. And while most of us make peace with these things, sometimes this comfort means that you’ve to be subject to your partner’s garlic breath or smelly farts. You mostly dismiss or laugh at it but you learn that, well, this is a way of life. Or you blame it on the dog.
Before you look at us with eyes full of questions, let me clear the air (pun intended) by saying that it wasn’t our idea, but that of a husband’s who had apparently been blaming his poor innocent dog for his own stinky farts, in front of his wife.
As it turns out, a woman’s very unusually comic story has been making rounds on the internet, ever since she shared on social media a situation where she thought her dog Jerry was releasing some pretty toxic and smelling gas. Amused the first time it happened, in front of the whole family while they were having dinner, her husband mentioned how it was Jerry’s doing. The wife since then became worried and started taking into account how frequently Jerry had been farting.

Concerned for his health, since according to her the farts would smell so “intense” and even worse than rotten eggs, the woman took the canine to multiple visits to the vet, and spent hundreds of dollars on various tests and treatments. She said, “The smell was UNBELIEVABLE. It honestly smelled a little like rotten eggs. I thought it was a one off because the dog does fart (as do we) but it’s never been this bad. Over the next week, the smell would come again and again at random times.”
However, despite taking Jerry to the vet and not being able to handle the smell anymore (more so because she was pregnant and had a heightened sense of smell), the wife had a meltdown. It was only then that her husband came clean in front of her and confessed that it had been him all along. The woman wrote, “Y’all, I lost it. I kicked him out of the house.” And honestly, we don’t blame her. After all, she must’ve been blown away by the news…
At this point the woman even put up the story on social media, asking people their views on whether she was right or not in demanding her husband to pay the entire vet bill from his personal savings. Considering he blamed the poor doggo for such his own fart attack, we think it is only fair that he pays for mistake (quite literally so).
