Grab some tissues ladies, Sara Ali Khan’s recent outing at an event will hit you with a dose of nostalgia. As a scrappy teenager trying to explore her personality, I was the weird kid making quirky fashion moves. Fortunately, I had a BFF who would join in the zany brigade, as I am sure many of you did as well. A reversed sweatshirt here and a jacket tied around our shirt (Rahul!) there, we loved to pull these shenanigans. It pissed off our moms to no end!

But playing around with one’s personal style is fun. Breaking the rules is exciting and seeing people react to it is fascinating. Which is why when Sara skipped an earring with her polka dot dress, it made us do a double-take. It is refreshing to see Sara take risks with her style and we kinda dig the approach.
