We can’t believe it’s been a year to the Virushka wedding already! I mean, wasn’t it just yesterday that our jaws dropped when we saw pictures of them married in Italy? Our hearts still flutter and we still go a little weak in the knees when a tweet, video and twinning picture of the couple turns up, ‘coz these people are just so cute. Besides serving up some major #couplegoals,we look at #Virushka because this is as close to a happy-ending as we’d get to witness. The single life, sigh. So on their first anniversary, we are listing the 5 times these guys made us go ‘Aww’.

During the World Cup semi-finals when India lost, Anushka was the one getting blamed. In what can only be called messed up, people took to social media to rant against the actress and she was at the receiving end of hateful comments as though she were the one on the field. Virat decided he had enough and defended her by uploading a post that shamed everyone who was being so disrespectful and unreasonable for the loss.

They make time for each other despite their super hectic schedules, and not just for the fancy getaways, but for running everyday errands together –  like going grocery shopping – or even taking up gardening seriously.

An ad featuring them had us all go mushy and this was before the news of their wedding broke. Them together, looked dreamy and looked so in love, every girl wanted a guy like Virat.  Even in the ad, the vows wooed us enough, especially because of how appropriate the timing, the couple and the words were. The love never left the air around them since then. *swipes right on Tinder randomly*

They have taken couple goals to another level altogether by still being so adorably in love with each other. You can often find them twinning with their airport looks, or Anushka sporting hubby’s tee, time and again. We can’t get enough of the cuteness! Don’t stop.

The time when Virat requested for wives to be allowed to accompany cricketers on their overseas tournaments, had us reaching out for tissues. Though the decision of the board is still pending, his gesture alone melted our hearts.
