Priyanka Chopra Says There’s A Huge Difference Between A Husband And A Boyfriend And We Agree!

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been giving us major couple goals. They have supported each other through all the initial criticism that was thrown their way. From calling Priyanka a global scam artist to malicious rumours about things not well between them, the naysayers were hell bent on making the couple’s life difficult. They probably still are. But Priyanka and Nick have grown closer than ever, and nothing can shake their relationship.

In an interview with Elle magazine, Priyanka gushed about how things have changed post marriage, for the better. “It’s so different. I’d never realized having a husband and a boyfriend are such different things. When you say your vows, it’s like, this person is my family, and it’s the family I chose. There’s a weird responsibility to them. And a safety that comes from it. We are learning about each other every day.”

We completely agree with her. When you get married, the person isn’t just a partner anymore. They become your family, the one you chose. You’ll be annoyed with them sometimes, like you do with your parents or siblings. But at the end, there’s a sense of security and comfort that is beyond comparison.

Priyanka and Nick’s wedding was rather grand, with the festivities spread over four days. Even her bachelorette looked like that of a princess! When asked about her wedding PeeCee revealed, “We decided on the venue for our wedding in October and we got married on 1 December. We had one-and-a-half months to plan, so we were just like, “Yeah, yeah, yeah, let’s get it.” And suddenly we were like, “Ohhh god.” It was very extravagant.”

Honestly, Priyanka has been working hard and if she wants a grand wedding, so be it, she deserves to pamper herself!

In fact, Priyanka is in such a happy and secure place right now and it’s inspiring. She explains how she became wiser in her early 30s, “I got weirdly comfortable. I was like, this is me – take it or leave it. I really wish I could’ve told my younger self, ‘Don’t be worried about your flaws’.”

Now that doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about looking good; she is in showbiz after all. “I won’t deny, I care about the vanity. I’m in the business and I want to look the best that I can, but that’s the key term: the best that I can. I’m not 21; I’m not going to try and look it! My body is changing, my body looks different,” said Priyanka, being the perfect poster girl for self-love!

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be next seen in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink, alongside Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. The movie is set to hit the screens on October 11.
