Director Sajid Khan Suspended By Film Body Due To Allegations Of Sexual Misconduct
For the ones who thought the #MeToo movement was on its way out, and were wiping their brow in relief, may be hold on. The movement is here to stay and it is very well, in full steam, taking its course. Director Sajid Khan, who has allegedly sexually harassed several women including actresses Rachel White, Saloni Chopra and journalist Karishma Upadhyay has been banned for a year by the Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA).

The director and now questionable sexual predator has also stepped down from his directorial position for the movie Housefull 4.
Although the ICC is yet to take a final call, they had heard enough to at least suspend him for a year. One down, several more to go. Seems like the only couch he will enjoy now, is the one at home.
With several names emerging from the woodwork, the floodgates of this movement opened up and disgust and distaste for such people has been rising.
Sajid Khan’s sister Farah Khan, was non-committal on the whole issue.
This is a heartbreaking time for my family. We have to work through some very difficult issues. If my brother has behaved in this manner he has a lot to atone for.I don’t in any way endorse this behavior and Stand in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt.

After all, it doesn’t matter whether you’re someone’s brother or not, what is wrong is wrong. And truth, like they say, always comes out.
