Payal Khandwala Launches New Accessories Label

There’s nothing that makes our day more exciting than finding new labels we can add to our shopping list, and this one has definitely made our day. Designer Payal Khandwala — known for her love of all things Japanese — has launched a new accessories label called Tachi.

The brand gets it name from a Japanese Samurai sword produced during the ancient Edo period, and its products are ethically sourced and locally manufactured across various workshops in Mumbai. The label’s accessories include brass and leather goods for men and women that are all lovingly handcrafted into minimally designed pieces which are high on utility. With its thoughtful take on design and minimal aesthetic, this new label is definitely one we’ll be watching.
