Fashionistas, Rejoice! Kate Spade Is Coming To India!
We recently announced that American luxe brand Coach will be hitting Indian shores soon. And just in case your morning hasn’t been going too well, here’s something to cheer you up.
Quirky New York-based apparels and accessories label Kate Spade is all set to hit the Indian market before year-end, giving direct competition to other brands like Michael Kors. Kate Spade will be licensed and distributed in India by Reliance Brands. According to an article in Economic Times, this will be the 18th international brand to be promoted by Reliance. They already have 142 stores with big names like Hamleys, Diesel, and Steve Madden, among others.
Founded in 1993 by Kate Brosnahan Spade, this brand markets accessories and apparel under Kate Spade New York. If your take on fashion includes colourful, fun designs on sleek silhouettes, here’s a label you’re bound to fall in love with. If you don’t believe us, the fun Spring Summer 2016 campaign that features an eclectic cast like model Jourdan Dunn, fashion muse Iris Apfel, photographer Syrie Moscowitz, among others, is proof enough that this brand embodies the spirit of the milennial.
The average price point in India for Kate Spade will be Rs 25,000, with bags starting at Rs 10,000.
