By  |

India’s run in the ICC World Cup 2019 finally kicks in and all of us are nervous and excited. We’ve already rescheduled most our social plans, because we’re going to be glued to the TV, on most days. And while at work, we’ll be sneakily checking scores on our phones! Of course, if we have an entire bunch of butterflies dancing around in our tummy, the Indian cricket team must be feeling super edgy! Blue for the win!

However, like they say, love can help you overcome your worries, some of our cricketers are blessed with such amazing partners and that will help them sail through. These are the women, who have extended their support to them during hard times, unconditionally. Of course, playing internationally and representing your country can be a lot of pressure. 1) Anushka Sharma (Married to Virat Kohli)

Virat and Anushka dated for several years before tying the knot in December 2017. They both have been extremely supportive of each other’s career. While Virat Kohli took to twitter to appreciate Anushka Sharma’s debut as a producer, NH10, Anushka is often seen cheering for Kohli during important matches. While in some matches, a few idiots went on to blame Anushka for Virat’s bad performance, he says marriage has actually helped him get better at work. In an interview with HT, he revealed, “I have become a lot more responsible. That helps you in captaincy as well. It’s only improved my captaincy and me as a human being and as a player.”

2) Ayesha Mukherjee (Married to Shikhar Dhawan)

Shikar Dhawan and Ayesha Mukherjee met online and fell in love. She lived in Australia that time and already had two daughters from her previous marriage. She’s 12 years older than him, but that hasn’t come in the way of love! In 2014, Ayesha gave birth to their son, Zoravar Dhawan and the mother-son duo is often seen cheering Shikhar from the stands! He has often mentioned that her support is his strength during stressful matches and we hope with that strength he is able to sail through this world cup with flying colours!
