#Trending: A Netizen Created A CV For Paresh Rawal’s Iconic Character Babu Rao Apte From Hera Pheri. People Have A Lot Of Time On Their Hands

If someone were to ask me how I have been spending all my time during this lockdown, I would have to lie to them. Because if I tell the truth, I would receive a lot of judgement. For instance, two days ago I got extremely bored at home and decided to fish out my age-old roller skates and well, skate in the house. Pro tip: when you skate after like ten years and you are clumsy as I am, you gotta move your furniture away. If you don’t, you will end up with bruises and one nasty cut like me. So, you see why I lie and tell people I am cleaning, cooking or learning a new language when I am actually doing stupid, super embarrassing things, right? All we have wanted an abundance of free time and now, that we have it, we just don’t know what to do with ourselves so we do things.

One thing I have learned though is that I am not alone. People who are filling their time by doing utterly stupid and necessary things is Twitter’s bread and butter right now. That and well, feuds. I mean come on, I don’t why a person with a lot to would sit around dipping eggs in chai. BTW, whoever thought of defiling chai should be penalised. Anyhoo, today, social media reached a new low of being vella.

You see, someone on Twitter created a CV for Paresh Rawal’s iconic character Baburao Ganpatrao Apte from Hera Pheri. Babu Rao is not a character that anyone can ever forget. I mean, I can actually hear him say, “Yeh Babu Rao Ka Style Hai Re Baba” in the exact tone he would say it. Hera Pheri, the OG one (the second one was rubbish), was a brilliant movie and I don’t think I have ever met a person who hasn’t watched it. And a huge part of why the movie is etched forever in people’s minds is because Paresh Rawal did such an amazing job playing Babu Rao.

Ah, I remember laughing so much during the scene where Babu Rao tried to take a bath in a swimming pool scene that I cried a little. Good times.

Anyway, coming back to the hilariously on-point CV made for Babu Rao. It was originally shared by a Twitter user named Abhash Agarwal. In his post, he tagged Paresh Rawal and that is how this CV went viral. Paresh Rawal replied to his post thanking him for making an Aadhar Card for Babu Rao. Yes, we know it’s not an aadhar card.

The person who made this CV is definitely a huge fan of the movies. On the CV, under achievements, it says, “‘cracking mast jokes” and Babu Rao’s life philosophy is described as, “Utha le re deva”. Clearly, he has done a lot of research on Babu Bhaiya

Needless to say, desi Twitterati jumped at the chance to get to view this CV. They had some hilarious things to say about it as well. Check it out:

Like a lot of these netizens, I too find myself wishing they make the third part of Hera Pheri. Although, after looking at that CV, I am not sure I would hire Babu Rao.

I have to say though, I am amazed every day how much time people have on their hands to do things like this. How bored do you have to be to want to make a CV for Babu Rao Apte? Although, it’s hilarious I now know I never want to reach that level of super boredom.
