To Escape His Wife’s Torture, A Man From Bihar Staged His Own Death Using Goat’s Blood

Most jokes that make the rounds on WhatsApp insinuate the fact that women make the lives of their husband’s hell. It’s a stereotype that has been going around for years and years now and for some reason, people find that funny. However, in the case we are discussing today, a man in Bihar faked his own death and fled to escape his wife’s torture over financial issues. Erm, okay, this is a little extra and this man seems genuinely scared of his wife. 

In Bihar’s Kaimur district, a 37-year-old unemployed man, Pradeep Kumar Ram, allegedly staged his own death and fled to Uttar Pradesh. He did all this because his wife would torture him over financial issues. 

His wife is, Kumari Pratibha is a government school teacher. She registered a police complaint stating that her husband, Pradeep, had been murdered by unknown assailants. A report in the TOI quoted a police officer saying, “On Tuesday night (December 29), Pradeep went to sleep at his house under construction. Pratibha reached there the next morning and found him missing and blood all over his bed and the floor.”

After receiving the complaint, the police began their probe in this mysterious murder case. They searched for Pradeep’s body, but it was in vain. However, the police noted that the blood spatter on Pradeep’s bed looked like it had been poured from a vessel. Later, the police grew further suspicious when they found a bloodstained, empty bottle of water near the complaints house. 

On Wednesday, the police found out that a person matching Pradeep’s description had been spotted in Uttar Pradesh. A team was sent to the location and they found Pradeep alive and well. This is where the plot thickens. 

During the interrogation, Pradeep explained that his wife would torture him over financial and domestic responsibilities. So, in an attempt to escape her terror he bought goat’s blood from a meat shop, poured it all over his bed and fled to UP. 

The police officer said that Pratibha was counselled before Pradeep was sent back home. 

This entire incident sounds like the plot to a terrible movie!
