This Woman Reported Her Brother To The Police For Farting On Her Toothbrush

When people talk about how much they love their siblings or how annoying their siblings are, it makes me feel left out. Being an only child, I never had anyone to have violent fights with or even a prank war. Unlike Ross and Monica, the only weird dance routine I had was the one I would do in the shower every morning while pretending I was at an award show. Don’t judge. However, after reading about this particular incident I am kind of glad I am an only child. You see, a woman called the police to accuse her brother of farting on her toothbrush. Erm, should I be laughing or just be thoroughly disgusted? Nevermind, I can do both at once. 

On December 20, an 18-year-old woman from Cleveland in Ohio reported to the police that her brother had farted on her toothbrush. It’s a super gross thing to do but let’s be honest, it’s not really a crime. However, despite her best efforts, it was proven that her brother was innocent. He did not fart on her toothbrush. Well, that is one sentence I never thought I would say.

According to a report in the Highland Heights Police Blotter, the woman was not at home when she filed the complaint. She only did it to annoy her brother. The police report said, “A woman, 18, reported at 12:39 p.m. Dec. 20 that her brother had farted on her toothbrush. Officers learned the woman was not at the home and had called from a different in the city in an effort to irritate her brother.” 

The police warned the 18-year-old girl to not call them for such trivial matters again. 

I was wrong. This is more funny than disgusting. Although, if I was this woman’s brother, I would most definitely fart on her toothbrush now. Who would believe her a second time? But then again, what do I know about sibling rivalry?
