This Woman Did A Perfect Somersault While Wearing A Saree. Meanwhile, I Can’t Wear One Without My Mother To Help Me

Anyone who knows me even the slightest bit can tell you that I am probably the clumsiest person ever. I have fallen off chairs, broken countless glasses and tripped over my own two feet. You see, I have no hand-eye-leg coordination and so you can only assume that I have never indulged in sports that require extraordinary motor skills. Although my lack of athletic flair and agility does not mean that I don’t greatly admire those who can pull of complex stunts.

Like, take this woman for example, whose somersault video has all of social media gasping. She does it with such precision that it leaves you a little taken aback. But the cherry on top of the cake is that she does it while wearing not athletic gear and a helmet (do people wear helmets while doing stunts like these? I feel like they should) but a saree. What she does is mind-blowing especially since most of us can’t take one step in a saree fearing it’s going to come undone. Let’s face it, as gorgeous as sarees look, handling them a talent. Which is why this woman’s somersault video has left us completely awestruck.

The video clip was posted on 30th August and it showed a woman identified as Parul Arora from Haryana, doing a somersault with her partner. The clip begins with them walking on their terrace and then breaking into a perfectly synchronized somersault. Parul, who wore a royal blue and black saree lands perfectly on her feet, then takes her partner’s hand and they continue to walk casually. Another thing I loved about the video is that they did the somersault while Animals by Martin Garrix played in the background.

The woman and her partner quickly went viral on social media. They garnered nearly 68,9512 views on their video. Netizens are going ga-ga over Parul’s kickass motor skills and her talents. I watched this video over and over again and it just left me more amazed and entertained each time. For a second I thought I would try to do a somersault myself, then I remembered that I would probably end up breaking my neck or something. So, please do not try this at home!

This woman is really talented!
