The definition of love for me, from when I was a little girl, was always to be as lucky in life to have what my parents have. Mainlu, a daughter like me. Hehe, kidding (not really). The way my father looks at my mother, or the way my mother calls out the name of my father with so much adoration has set an example of love for me in life. And this is something that almost every child would relate to, considering our parents are usually our very first idols in life. But this was perhaps the first time, that this other set of parents came close to giving me the feels my own parents normally evoke.
We are talking about a particular video that has the mother putting on her wedding dress, 25 years later and walking up to her husband, surprising him with the gesture and giving us all a moment we wish we would be lucky enough to recreate in life. In the video, you can see TikTok user Susannah’s mother try on her 25-year-old white gown only to have her husband go absolutely speechless and come to embrace her in the moment.
The father, walks us to his wife dressed in white, probably looking as regal as she would be on her actual wedding day, gives her a peck on her lips and looks at her asking if he could take a picture of her. And if this isn’t the cutest thing you’ve seen on internet all day long, then we don’t know what is.

Not only did this give us incredible #couplegoals but also left us feeling all positive and hopelessly romantic, wishing to have what they have. Not forgetting how the mother actually fit into 25 year old dress without it ripping at the seams. Guess this lock down is after all rekindling old spirits and getting the best out of some people, as they learn to embrace and be utterly grateful for what they have.

As more and more people come across this sight of true love, we on the other hand can’t stop watching this on repeat.
