This Twist In The Third Season Of 13 Reasons Why Is Going To Make You Want To Watch The Series!
When I started watching the first season of 13 Reasons Why back in 2017 when it was all the rage. Safe to say, I wasn’t the same person once I finished watching the show. Pulling back from all or any social interactions for a few days, the show hit me hard with a plot line that hit too close to reality, perhaps. The issues of bullying, abuse, rape and suicide depicted in the story that gripped me as much as it depressed me. Then, the second season arrived and I reluctantly binge-watched that too. Again, with a strong emphasis on all the social evils and triggers that can make a young mind like that of Hannah Baker or Tyler snap making them do something unimaginable.

So naturally, when the trailer of the third season surfaced a few hours ago, I had my own reservations. I wasn’t sure if I was ready to endure the very strong graphics of the show, like the previous seasons. And while the show had been an opening dialogue for a lot of issues and kids that needed immediate attention, I don’t want to lie, it made me want to lock myself in a room for rest of eternity. But then, I watched the promo, because who am I kidding, and boy are we in for a watch.

This, after coming to know through the trailer how the third season is going to be about finding who killed the rapist of the show – Bryce Walker. The character, that had raped Hannah and Jessica and was unanimously hated by the 13RW fans, has been killed and the internet had crazy reactions. The second season ended with a cliff hanger where Tyler was seen armed with guns at a high-school dance, and we could possibly think of no connection that would lead to Bryce’s murder, we aren’t not happy with the plot.
As the show progresses into its third season, we hope to see it address more important issues and dialogues. One of the most predicted topic of discussion being abortion, for Chloe had revealed in the last season she was pregnant with Bryce’s child, and the audience has its speculations about it leading to an abortion now that the baby-father cum rapist Walker is dead.

The season that is set to hit Netflix on August 23, is predicted to have some extremely compelling and one of the best episodes from the entire series, as claimed by actor Dylan Minnette, who plays the role of Clay. He tweeted, ” I know i never really tweet about 13 reasons why but i gotta say some of these last few scripts of season 3 are the show’s best. alright that’s all.” And that was enough to make the cat curious.
We can’t wait to see how and if the situation at the dance turns around and what new facets of the characters are revealed in this third season of 13 Reasons Why! Guess, we’ll have to stay tuned to find out!
