Tennis Star Alison Riske Dancing To A Bollywood Song At Her Wedding Is So Wholesome. And We Want To Join Her

Weddings are and have always been a bright and sunny affair. And while there may be many different ways and rituals to make the wedding happen, there is something about Indian weddings that excites us beyond what can be considered normal. Also, that song and dance routine is inherent to our weddings cannot be ignored. I mean, are you even at an Indian wedding if Sukhbir doesn’t ‘Oho ho’ at least once? And this wedding of tennis star Alison Riske, and former player Stephen Amritraj was really exciting.

The love birds and champion tennis players, recently tied the knot with each other in the presence of their closed ones in Pittsburgh. The two who had been partners for long now, thought to make the most of Alison’s recent win over the World’s number 1, Ashleigh Barty, at Wimbledon by getting married in a fairytale ceremony.

The highlight of the wedding was a performance by Alison and her sister Sarah, dancing to the Bollywood number ‘Nachde ne saare‘, that got everyone tapping their feet. Alison put up a post with the caption read as, “Officially an Amritraj! I’m the luckiest lady because of @stephenamritraj ! where all my new Indian followers at??!! here’s a little Bollywood to try to win over your affection” and win she did!

Picking up the famous song starring Katrina Kaif, ‘Nachde ne saare‘, was a perfect pick for a wedding playlist and seems to be an extremely cute tribute to Alison’s Indian better half Stephen Amritraj, who among others in attendance enjoyed their well-coordinated dance to the fullest. From getting the hook steps right to doing justice to the thumkas, the sisters slayed the moves and proved that no wedding is complete without a touch of some Punjabi singing and dancing.

The video of the sisters soon went viral and our very own tennis superstar, Sania Mirza took to twitter to congratulate the happy couple, and of course,  acknowledged just how impressive and on point those moves were!
