Kangana Ranaut’s Fitness Journey From Putting On 20kgs For Thalaivi To Now Being Fit For Tejas Is Inspiring
The Republic Day parade might not always have caught your fancy but this time, we had a couple of women who had us enraptured. Bhawana Kant standing tall was a moment we will be cherishing for a while. Put them women up and central, we say. And as women take the centrestage, Bollywood wants to put its money on telling their stories. Like that of Gunjan Saxena which released earlier this year which had Janhvi Kapoor in the lead. In a similar vein, Kangana Ranaut is all set to play an air force pilot in her upcoming movie Tejas.
In a chat with Kangana’s trainer Yogesh Bhateja, he revealed that it was quite the transformation. “She has lost a lot of weight. And in this film, you’ll see her in an extreme form, in a chiseled form. She is gaining her muscles back. This is gonna be her finest transformations till date.” Yogesh added that it was relatively easy to train her, given that, “She was very supportive and when I was training her, I felt like I am training an athlete. She is very active, very strong, focused and determined.”

While many actors are willing to put on and lost weight for their roles, this feat by Kangana for Tejas is more interesting because it comes at the heels of her previous schedules for her movie Thalaivi. For this role, Kangana was required to put on 20kgs. Going from that to building muscle and looking strong for Tejas has to be quite the journey and we are feeling very inspired that Kangana has taken this up.
While she has been ever so active on social media, it has been quite the roller coaster for her. From being the one to launch the word nepotism in all its glory, to partaking in heated political debates, Kangana has been occupying the mind space and reams of columns for a while now. We think her fitness journey is worth talking about so much more.
