3 Shopping Apps You Need To Download Right Now
Ok, don’t judge, but I’ve always hated shopping! You see, for a lazy person like me, the thought of going from shop to shop and perusing through racks of clothes is torture. And don’t even get me started on overly enthusiastic salespeople who won’t give you an inch of space. That’s why I’d rather shop online than visit a store. I don’t have to tell you how amazing it feels to sit in your jammies, use a few filters, and get exactly what you’re looking for. Here are a few of the new-ish apps on my phone that I shop on, apart from the usual Flipkart and Jabong.
This Gurgaon-based company does a good job of collating pieces from other stores within one app universe. This means I don’t have to search through ALL the apps I have. I don’t need to tell you how this appeals to the Homer Simpson in me, do I? Also, they stock women’s shoes in sizes larger than 7. I almost cried tears of joy when I filtered shoes by size 9 for the first time.
2. Ali Express
The veritable source of all Chinese goods, Ali Express’s app does a fantastic job of stepping away from its cluttered and slightly mental sister website. You can browse by images in a Pinterest-inspired format rather than listings, which is a relief. I usually order accessories on Ali Express. The only downside is, contrary to the “express” in its name, the shipping time is anywhere between 20-60 days.
India’s answer to ASOS, the Koovs app collates some of the best brands in India and what keeps me coming back is its in-house line of clothes and accessories that are super on trend! They’re currently offering a cool 30% off on some of my favourite brands. I especially love the fact that I can window shop and save my selections for later.
