The App That’s Making Our Insta Feed Oh-So-Pretty!
Any half decent social media expert worth their Starbucks cappuccino and wifi connection will tell you that there’s so much more to Instagram than just taking pretty pictures. I mean, duh! Since Instagram is cluttered with beautifully shot images that are edited to perfection, it is now imperative to plan your grid to make it look the prettiest, while optimising the insights you already have. Like I’ve said, time and again, whenever you find yourself in need for anything, you’ll easily be able to find an app to fulfill said need! Here’s the down-low on Planoly, the app that’s been helping me up my Insta game!

The app is a boon for social media mavens like me, who are trying to make sense of the world, one Insta at a time. Planoly provides a simple solution — it helps you schedule, plan, and analyze your Instagram posts in advance and provides you with performance-based data. Sounds too good to be true for an app that’s absolutely free, doesn’t it? Well, it’s a banging visual management platform, if I do say so myself.
You kick things off by linking your Instagram account to the app (easy peasy) that’ll enable you to import your grid and plan the most visually appealing content that’ll work best for you. Simply import the images, schedule, and play around with the grid to plan the perfect order, and you’re sorted!
Between you and me, the data section is my favourite. It’s a good way to get some insights if you haven’t signed up for a Business profile on Instagram. You can track everything from the total number of posts, likes, and comments, to follower gain/loss, likes per post, and comments per posts. The dashboard allows you to do an easy analysis as well!
