The Dell XPS 13 Is Our New Gadget To Play With And It’s Legit Gold!

Travelling for work, checking into 5-star hotels, sounds like fun, right? Well, not always. Especially, when you have to lug around a boulder of a laptop. First of all, the weight. Half my back problems are because of that. Then, of course, there’s the handling it. It’s a task to prevent it from falling and breaking into pieces without mastering juggling skills. And I have none. So when Dell sent us their new XPS 13, I was excited. And that’s putting it mildly. I may have launched myself at it.

You know what they say about first impressions right? Well, this one absolutely this one nails it. It is rose gold. That colour speaks to my soul. Needless to say, I was sold and thus began my week-long rendezvous with Dell XPS 13.

Dell XPS 13 Rose Gold

This gadget comes in two colours on the inside – alpine white and black. It looks super stylish and the screen also packs a punch with the bezel-less display. This means that my display looked stunning and most of the time, we had an audience gathered around to watch a video on my laptop.

There have been design upgrades from previous Dell models. The web camera has been moved to the bottom, the 4K display makes watching videos and movies a delight. It lends itself to many, many movie marathons.

So what didn’t work? The fact that there is no USB port. That becomes slightly inconvenient for anyone who needs to maybe take work home.  Also, the price may be a bit of a downer. This will put you back by around a lakh, so it maybe a bit of a splurge.

But if you’re feeling fancy, are looking to buy a new laptop, and you’re not an Apple loyalist then, this is the laptop you need. Oh, did I mention it’s weirdly similar to Macbook? Must have missed it.
