3. Roskilde

Where: Roskilde, Denmark
When: June 25 –  July 2, 2016

A hippie-gathering-turned-music-festival, this one celebrates music, food, and art. This festival believes in changing the world with music and so they donate all their earnings to charity. How cool is that? I’m totally on board! More than 3,000 artists perform every year, and you get to see both mainstream and lesser known artists here. Must. Visit. Soon.

4. Splendour In The Grass

Where: New South Wales, Australia
When: July 22 – 24, 2016

Technically, it’s winter in Australia while the world north of the equator is enjoying a spot of sun. However, I believe this music festival deserves to be listed because it’s been a hot favourite for more than a decade now. It has a line-up of amazing artists playing rock, pop and EDM. Art installations, pop-up stores, and craft workshops are the other activities that they have in store for you.
