One of the most adored couples of Bollywood, who had been together since the time Imran was pursuing an acting course in LA and was just 19 years old, the two had set some pretty major #couplegoals. They went on to get married and continued to serve up couple goals after that too. Everything seemed well and rosy, except, like in any other relationship, things went sour and the two decided to spend time away from each other. Not that it was any one’s business to comment or probe, but the two haven’t been left alone since then.

Rather than realising how sensitive the matters must be for them, there have been reports talking about the probable reasons for their split. A source close to the couple, revealed to a publication that, “After Katti Batti failed, offers started drying up and soon enough, he (Imran Khan) was left with no work. It’s been four years that the actor is at home, doing absolutely nothing. He wanted to turn a director but that also has not taken shape the way he envisioned. He just did a small short with Dharma 2.0 and that’s it.”
The source also revealed that,“Imran became really irritable and would react at the littlest of things. All their savings were getting used up and Avantika had to finally rely on her side of the family to support them. There were regular arguments between him and Avantika and their house became a debating platform each day. Avantika couldn’t take it anymore and realized that all these regular tiffs and fights were affecting their child Imaara.” And honestly, this is perhaps one of the lowest blows by the tabloids who can’t see how morally wrong and intrusive such speculation is.

Hiding behind the convenience of an anonymous source, to dissect and disarm a couple like that is absolutely not required and uncalled for. Talking about celebrity couples and divorces is one thing when the two have come out to give a statement, but to make such absurd speculations is painful. Whatever the reason for their split might be, it is none anyone’s business to talk about, let alone make headlines out of. And the only thing people need to be made privy to is the concept of personal space.
