Sonam Kapoor’s Husband, Anand S Ahuja Is A Feminist! Here’s Proof.

So, Sonam Kapoor is married. And as is mandatory, she now has a partner. Like we have said before, she made it all legal when she changed her name on Instagram. She is now Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.

Of course, this put the Internet in a tizzy, mostly because anything will rile us up. But also because Sonam has claimed to be a feminist, and people thought it was quite regressive for her to change her name. Everyone questioned this move of hers because we have no concept of personal choice.

Anyway, while the digital universe raged and ranted, Sonam said it was a matter of choice. That it simply didn’t matter what other people thought of her name change. She said this in an exclusive interview with India Today Television at the Cannes Film Festival. 

But while we were distracted with our need to voice our anger, Anand Ahuja also went ahead and added an ’S’ to his name on social media. Sonam Kapoor’s husband is now Anand S Ahuja. And suddenly, we are all placated, and cannot believe how lucky the actress is to have scored such a cool husband. Such support, much wow!
