Sonakshi Sinha Got Trolled For Not Knowing An Answer On KBC But She Was Such A Sport About It
Look I’m not saying it’s not important to remember our mythology. All I’m saying is if someone has a lapse in memory, let’s cut them some slack. It’s not like we remember everything we learnt in school. I mean, I don’t. How many of us remember the names of all lakes in India and their location or the formula to calculate compound interest? So, unless you were born with an eidetic memory, trolling Sonakshi Sinha for forgetting a part of mythology is just you enjoying your moral high ground. If you follow it and know about it, but let’s admit it most people won’t be able to answer even if their lives depended on it.
For those of you who don’t use social media as much, let’s recap. On Friday’s episode of KBC the Karamveer guest contestant was Ruma Devi an NGO worker from Rajasthan and she was paired with Sonakshi Sinha. During the episode, the duo was faced with a question pertaining to the Ramayana. “Hanuman fetched Sanjeevani herb for whom?” At the outset, it may seem simple. But is it not possible to forget when you’re sitting in a chair that is literally called the “hot seat?” When Sonakshi opted for a lifeline to help with the answer, it opened meme floodgates on Twitter which were uncalled for. Sonakshi who is currently vacaying in Maldives, acknowledged the meme fest with an epic comeback. Her tweet read,” Dear jaage hue trolls. That reply of hers, says everything we wanted to say when we saw those memes. Just because she is a public figure and is open to criticism doesn’t mean we can mock every single mistake she makes. This isn’t the first time a celebrity has gotten trolled for making an insignificant mistake or their fashion choices or the pictures they post. (Who can forget all the shit Alia Bhatt was put through for her answers on Koffee With Karan) As much fun as meme culture is, we think it’s quite sporty of Sonakshi to let the meme makers do their thing.

Thankfully there were some who came forward in support of her, it’s refreshing to know there are a few sane ones left. We just want to tell the people just waiting for a celebrity to mess up so they can make memes on them really need to get out from their houses and get a real life!
