Even though her parents Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan parted ways, they made sure that their separation doesn’t affect their children and the positivity is out for the world to see.

So when Saif Ali Khan decided to marry Kareena Kapoor, of course there was a lot of hue and cry about him being a divorcee. A lot of people reacted negatively and threw major shade at the couple. Looking back on the time when her dad got remarried, Sara Ali Khan revealed her mom’s reaction to it, “When my father just got married to Kareena, I remember going to the locker with my mother and taking out jewellery and saying which jhumkas should I wear? She called Abu and Sandeep and said, ‘Saif is getting married and I want Sara to have the most beautiful lehenga.’”

In fact, we often see the entire fam spending quality time together. Sara Ali Khan has no qualms with Kareena Kapoor. Sure, if this was a Bollywood movie, Sara would have hated Kareena and Amrita would have played the victim. But thankfully, they are just a family of artists and they leave the drama to the movies they do. Earlier in Koffee with Karan, Sara had spoken about her equation with Kareena, and it was nothing but positive. “Everyone has been clear about their dynamics with me. It has never been confusing. Kareena herself was saying and still says that ‘look you have a mother and a great one and what I want is for us to be able to be friends,” said the Simmba actress.
