Sara Ali Khan Is A Millennial Woman Who Is Confident And Unapologetic. We Can Relate
Sara Ali Khan, like a lot other new actors on the block, has been labelled ‘star kid’. This label is largely unshakeable, they have to live with it. And it is attached to young actors like Sara Ali Khan, Jahnvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, etc. And though it’s the very label that has helped them get an A-lister movie when they made their debut, in a way, it takes away from the hard work they put in otherwise. Sara is a talented young actress, with calibre that’s very evidently there. She oozes charm and confidence. She is cute yet doesn’t act dumb. Sara has worked very hard on her body and fitness. She is bubbly, down-to-earth and real. Which is probably why, in such a small span of time, Sara has taken the country by storm. She is loved for who she is and not because of the family she belongs to.
So how is she handling all this newfound stardom and at such a young age? In an interview with Indian Express, she revealed it’s all about the art instead. “I am not chasing stardom. I am chasing acting. My dream is to do different films, play different characters. I don’t think this dream will ever be achieved because I want to act till my last breath, which I hope won’t happen anytime soon,” she said.
She was asked if she feels the pressure to perform because she’s part of such a successful filmy family. Sara Ali Khan revealed that if she did, it would have hampered her performance. But she also added that she doesn’t feel apologetic about having a strong backing in the industry. That’s the kind of confidence I was talking about. In fact, in a recent campaign for a sports brand, she is seen just being her goofy self unabashedly. In a way, she is perfectly representing a millennial woman who is self-assured, poised and believes having a little fun while at it.

On the work front, Sara Ali Khan has Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2 alongside Kartik Aaryan in the pipeline. She is also looking forward to the remake of Coolie No 1 alongside Varun Dhawan. “I cannot say much about my character but yes, there is a modern twist to it. Working with Varun has been a super blast. I cannot believe that I have got the opportunity to recreate the magic that Karisma Kapoor created on screen. I hope I can do justice to it,” she said.
