Salman Khan Doesn’t Want To Work With Priyanka Chopra Again. We Think He Should Let Go Of The Grudge
They say we must not hold grudges against those who have wronged us. Which is right, I too, tend to forgive people – not as much for them as for my own sake. I don’t like to bottle any kind of negativity in my heart or spend precious time hating. You see, forgiveness for me is a means of freeing myself from the pessimism a situation could otherwise add to my view of things. However, forgiveness is not the same as giving people another chance. But of course, there are no rules here. In fact, contrary to that, there are times when we end up giving more chances – that may or may not turn out to be as expected. A practice, that Salman Khan is not in the favour of testing, as the actor is in no mood of working things out with Priyanka Chopra again, and I kinda understand.
For the uninitiated, Priyanka Chopra was supposed to do Salman Khan’s Bharat. However, she backed out because it was clashing with her wedding plans with Nick Jonas. And, we understand. She had her priorities and getting married seemed more viable than doing a song-dance flick, she said. But that kinda left Salman khan in a sticky wicket and he went on to star alongside ex-girlfriend and old friend, Katrina Kaif instead. While that turned out just fine, for Salman it’s not just about all’s well that ends well. Or ends at all, for that matter.

Currently, Salman Khan’s venture Radha is in its casting stage and when someone suggested to cast PeeCee, he sternly refused. A source close to the actor revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “Bhai plays a cop again in the Eid 2020 release. This would be two back-to-back releases Dabangg 3 followed by the Eid release, where Salman plays a cop. To avoid a sense of sameness his team members suggested Priyanka Chopra since she has no films on hand after The Sky Is Pink releases in October. Salman’s reply was a vehement no.” Ouch! Once bitten twice shy? The source further added, “At such a short notice the choice was between Jacqueline Fernandez and Katrina Kaif. With Jacqueline, Salman is already doing Kick 2. He might as well give Katrina the Eid gift.” And while we want to stay on topic, what’s with the “Eid gift”? It’s not like Katrina Kaif is in desperate need of a Salman Khan film, but okay.

I too would be a little weary of someone who backed out once, but I would also not judge a person on one single incident, that was an all too obvious choice to make. Priyanka Chopra has been a thorough professional and that’s why she is where she is today. Anyway, even if Salman Khan swears off her, I think she would be pretty fine with missing out on that. Guess, time will tell!
