Everything You Wanted To Know About Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Royal Wedding

By  |

Right about now, millions of people around the world are glued to their screens, TV or otherwise, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to say their vows. This is a royal wedding, taking place at the St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in the UK, that has been much-anticipated. Obviously, it is going to be nothing like your regular wedding.

Speculation is rife about many aspects of the wedding. From who all will be attending, to which designer the bride will be wearing, this is an event that goes beyond boundaries.

A little about the couple. The Prince and Meghan met when they were set up on a blind date in 2016 by a mutual friend. So, no, this is not Tinder playing cupid. Prince Harry is a prince and royal. Meghan Markle is an actress on the hit TV show, Suits. The two hit it off, and by November 2017, they announced their engagement. The proposal wasn’t a lavish production, but an intimate setting with just the two of them when Prince Harry went down on one knee, and asked Meghan for her hand in marriage.

While a lot of people are wondering which designer the actress will pick, and it still remains to be seen, it is likely that she will be sporting a gown with long sleeves, something that is a royal tradition of being modest. Meghan will also probably have a sprig of myrtle in her bouquet, a beautiful tradition that has been passed down generations. Princess Diana had one, as did Kate Middleton.

Finally, if you are staring at your screen hoping to sigh with happiness when the kiss happens, you might be disappointed. Keeping in line with the royal rules, the couple may not share their first kiss immediately, and might have to delay it for a little later in the day.

Watch the video above for all the details on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s romance, and their royal wedding.
