Cancel Your Weekend Plans, And Go Watch Toy Story 4 For These 5 Reasons!

Well, I’m almost 20, and technically an adult! But this won’t stop me from being like an excited AF 8-year-old about animated movies. I will shamelessly be the first one in line to buy movie tickets for any, or all of these flicks, just to relive my childhood. No points for guessing what I’ll be doing this weekend. Watching Toy Story 4 duh! The fourth part of the movie is releasing in India tomorrow and here; coming up with a part 4 of the film which was really unexpected at first, but also got us impatient at the same time! Toy Story is one such film that should be on your must watch movie lists for 2019.

From the original Toy Story movie where a young imaginative Andy, received a Buzz Lightyear action figure on his birthday that made his old vintage cowboy toy insecure, to this fourth movie where all the toys reunite again,  Toy Story has come a long way and will give you all nostalgic feels! The trailer that came out earlier showed Woody, Buzz, and the other toys having to teach Bonnie’s homemade toy Forky how to be a toy. Then during a road trip with Bonnie’s family, Woody meets up with Bo Peep and has to deal with fears of becoming a “lost toy”. This one’s definitely taking us on an unforgettable trip down memory lane!

But if you’re still not sure, I’m going to give you 5 reasons you just have to watch Toy Story 4!

1. Bo Peep returns. Need I say more?

We were disheartened by the fact that Bo Peep was not there in Toy Story 3. It was highly questionable that Woody would only mention her twice! But y’all… she is back with a bang and we are extremely happy. Now my inner child is not only screaming because I adore Bo, but also because she’s come back as a much stronger character!

2. The gang gets back together, and they are #friendshipgoals

How on earth can I be expected to stay calm after knowing that Woody, Buzz, Slinky, Jesse, Ham, Mr. Potato Head, Bullseye, and Rex are reuniting?  All of them are unique in their own way and that’s exactly the beauty of friendship. Just thinking of them getting back together is making me excited. Also let’s hope we at least get to see what Andy is up to. I mean, you can’t have Toy Story without Andy in it… am I right?

3. There are going to be new friends 

Every Toy Story movie has come up with new cute and huggable characters. Toy Story 4 seems to go down the same route… although we don’t know much about Forky yet. Maybe we’ll have to wait for the film to release to find out. We love the fact that we will get to know Bonnie more, who loves the Toy Story gang like we do. It made our hearts melt when we saw her write her name on the bottom of Forky’s feet just like Andy did?

4. We’re living for the epic quotes 

“You’ve got a friend in me.” “Reach for the sky.” These quotes from the movie have definitely given me some major motivation over the years. And haven’t we all used them to deal with the daily grind, or at least to caption our Insta photos? It taught me how to stick by my buddies when things got a little hard, and pushed me to reach my goals. I’m certain that this next movie will also inspire and give me some lessons for life.

5. It’s like reliving childhood, guys! 

Disney never fails to make us feel like children again. Who doesn’t love that? Movies like Toy Story give us the chance to escape our real adult world problems and go on an adventure with characters like Woody and Buzz!
