Punjab Cops Deliver A Cake To A Family’s House To Celebrate Their Daughter’s First Birthday Amidst The Lockdown. This Is So Sweet!
It is the little things that matter the most, they say and perhaps they are right. Yes, grand gestures have an allure of their own, but the kind of a charm that a selfless and thoughtful little gesture carries is unmatchable. As has been proven quite recently by the Punjab Police Cops who have driven away our Monday blues by doing something exceptionally thoughtful and caring even in such troubled times.
Now viral, the video showing a bunch of considerate Punjab Police cops delivering a cute little birthday cake to a family in Mansa, that couldn’t go out shopping for even getting their daughter’s first birthday cake due to the current circumstances. But saving the day, and making the occasion even special were these cops that took upon themselves the responsibility for not letting a child’s 1st birthday go dull, they surprised not just the family, but all of us netizens as well.
It was ward police officer head constable, Gurpreet Singh who was sent to the little girl, Mayra Garg’s house midst the lockdown, and he took along with him a cake on behalf of the entire PCR and delivered it as what would be the best birthday gift for Mayra in years to come! Filled with gratitude, the family thanked the cops for their beautiful efforts, and in return the police officials decided to come up with an exciting news.

The cops have declared that they would be delivering a cake to every household that has a child turning one in this period of a lockdown, to make sure that their child’s first birthday which is also their most important one in life doesn’t go cake-less and sad, as said in a statement by Mansa SSP Narinder Bhargav. And if this isn’t proof that humanity is not dead in this world already, we don’t know what it!
As for someone who has her own birthday coming up, the fact that the police besides being outdoors every single day, fighting on the frontlines to keep us safe, and are also indulging in everything they can do to make people feel better in such glum times, has definitely reinstated our faith in the good in this world, and reminded us that a little gesture of care goes a long long way.
