There are some industry names that have become synonymous with Bollywood, worldwide. Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone are just some of these names. And while we are happy Bollywood is attracting global attention, we can’t help but wonder why all our leading ladies seem to be in such a rush to dip their toes in to Hollywood.
You are probably wondering why we are talking about this all of a sudden, right? It is because we speculate another one of our own, more specifically Alia Bhatt might be trying her hand at Hollywood very soon. At just 26, she has carved a niche of her own in Bollywood. With movies like Raazi, Udta Punjab and Highway under her belt, it is pretty clear being an actress is Alia’s calling.

After wrapping up her last schedule for Sadak 2, she is currently vacationing in LA with her BFF Akanksha Rajan Kapoor. Except, if reports are to be believed then what seems like a vacation to us is actually Alia head hunting for an international celebrity manager. Reports also claim that she wants to experiment with her career at this point in her life. It looks like she will be following the footsteps of Priyanka and Deepika sooner than we thought.

Here is what the report said, “Alia’s entry into Hollywood seems sooner than later. It’s all very hush-hush at the moment, though she has been spotted at Beverly Hill restaurants in Los Angeles on social media posts. While it seems that the actress is holidaying in LA with her best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, apparently, Alia is there in search of an international celebrity agent.” Again, it is all speculation! While we are so excited to see Alia on a global platform, we can’t help but feel a little abandoned.

That isn’t even all the proof there is. In Bollywood, Alia is represented by Matrix- a leading celebrity management firm. Alia flew down to LA with Vivek Kamath who works at Matrix. He is apparently negotiating with international agents on Alia’s behalf.
She seems like she is in a rush, doesn’t she? Could be there a project on the table for which she needs a manager? Only time will tell.
