I remember my parents cheering me on at every award function, praising every laurel I received with so much happiness that it felt they were the ones receiving it. We all know that parents enjoy living vicariously through our achievements and accolades which is so cute and it’s true that parents are the happiest at their kids’ success. Especially after we have proof of the same, as we saw a proud policeman salute his DSP daughter in Andhra Pradesh, captured in a photograph that lit up our faces.
In a photo that is now viral, we can see Inspector Y Shyam Sundar saluting his daughter, Yendluru Jessy Prasanthi, who is presently posted as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Guntur district. Winning hearts all across the internet, this picture captured a thousand emotions, all of them tugging at our heart strings.
The sight was empowering and pure and so lovely that it even made Tirupati SP Ramesh Reddy comment and laud the picture. He went on to appreciate the father-daughter duo, breaking all stereotypes and setting new and healthier standards.

This heartwarming moment occurred at the Andhra Pradesh State Police Duty Meet titled ‘Ignite’, which is being held from January 4 to January 7. After the father had saluted his daughter, with oh so much pride, the daughter too saluted Sundar back and we believe it was the most heartening thing to spot on the internet today.
