Meet The #HauteSquad: Mansi Chouksey

So we’ve turned 1 *yay*! And now, FINALLY, we’ve decided to introduce the geniuses behind Hauterfly… ok, we’ve decided to introduce you to the #HauteSquad! So here’s your inside track into who brings you your favourite stories and the madness that goes on at Hauterfly HQ.

Meet Mansi Chouksey, our super Graphic Designer, who makes our site look as good as it does. She’s our in-house lipstick junkie who’s always ready to pose for a team selfie. With an acute sense of aesthetics, for both Hauterfly and herself, Mansi is one of our stars.

So what exactly is it that you do?

All those creative visuals and posters you see floating around the website and on Hauterfly’s social media pages (which bring you here) — that’s mostly me!

What were you doing before this?

I finished my Post Graduation in Animation Design a year ago, and I was interning with this super-cool design studio called Dynamite Design.

How did you get started at Hauterfly?

I was looking for a chance to do some pro graphic designing, and I stumbled upon a vacancy in Hauterfly. I shared my portfolio with Zahra and just 4 days later, I kickstarted my journey here.

What’s your favourite part about the job?

Making #trippy designs such as this one. I love it when such designs make people ask me, “Mansi, what are you on?”

And the least favourite?

I don’t know if it’s just me or it’s a pet peeve of every designer, but I don’t like it when someone peeks at my desktop screen. And considering the how giant my desktop is, this is a regular occurrence.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Wonder woman. Don’t believe me? I’ll list out the reasons!

– Multitasking
– Smoking Body
– Rich AF
– Can fly — just think how cool it would be to travel to all my dream destinations in a jiffy.

What’s the one piece of advice you’d give someone who wants a job like yours?

Pastel colours. Chic designs. Repeat.

Tell us something weird about you.

I have Trypophobia. WARNING : Don’t google it. I’m not to be blamed if you discover that you have it too.

Seen it all?

We’ve got more!
