Kriti Kharbanda Talked About Her Insecurities In A Candid Chat And It Was Very Heartening!

It is not easy to make it in Bollywood if you don’t have a godfather to guide you, and to power through can’t be easy. Getting your first break or choosing the right script isn’t easy and it can’t be easy when you don’t know your way around. Kriti Kharbanda is an actress who has carved a niche for herself in the south industry already. But when she made a decision to enter Bollywood, the actress found it really challenging to start all over again. Kriti Kharbanda feels that the most difficult aspect of life is to fight your own doubts and overcome them.

The stunning diva who made her Bollywood debut in Raaz: Reboot and later charmed the audience with her performances in films like, Guest in London and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, in an interview said, “The toughest part for to start all over again is battling your own emotions. Not just as an actor but as a human being. It is challenging to fight your own thoughts and not put yourself down.”

Kriti Kharbanda further added, “Initially, it was difficult for me to come from somewhere where I was established and to start from scratch and then find my place. I have found my place here. I am pretty secure now.”

Kriti Kharbanda says that she has always been critical of her own work “I am my biggest critic and sometimes I forget that I am also human and I need to stop criticising myself. It is not about the place you make in but the place you make for yourself. You need to stop comparing yourself to other people.” Kriti has two forthcoming films in her kitty, Housefull 4 and Pagalpanti and she is excited as well as nervous about these.

The talented actress is looking forward to explore newer genres in these films and isn’t worried about being typecast as the ‘go-to actor’ for comedy films at this point! “I have done comedy films but they all have been different. The challenge is to reinvent yourself every time. I would like to explore different genres but I choose from what comes to me,” she said.

Kriti Kharbanda was at the Charles and Keith wedding collection launch and was seen sharing her journey in a candid interview. The actress concluded and said, “My other films are different, like Chehre and Taish. I have found a balance between doing something in indie space like a Bejoy Nambiar film and then a slightly serious film like Chehre and then comedy capers like Housefull 4 and Pagalpanti.
