Kiara Advani Reveals She’s Open To Dating A Co-Star, And We Think We Know Who It Might Be!

I have been single for about 3 years now, which means its also been three years since my friends have been asking me why am I so averse to the idea of relationships. And my answer to that very annoying yet persistent question has been quite similar to that of Kabir Singh’s actress – Kiara Advani.

The actress was out promoting her upcoming film with Shahid Kapoor in Chandigarh when she was asked about her relationship status, or maybe lack there of. Kiara replied by saying, “I just told you I’m too single. We were promoting in Chandigarh and they called me chhadi which means a single girl. It doesn’t sound so right anyway. But I’m not averse to a relationship.” Well, the relatability to that statement was profound.

When questioned more about her love life, she opened up and said, “In my head, I believe I’ve only been in love once. It was the only person I had a proper longish relationship. We grew up together so it was a different kind of equation. Today also, that person is still a friend and someone I’d call for anything good or bad.”

Guess we know what her take is on whether or not exes can be friends, and we think it is a healthy way to be. However, when spruced about whether or not she relates to Shahid’s character Kabir Singh in the film, she commented, “I have been there myself, we have all been there. I have felt like I don’t want to get out of bed, I want to stay in. My friends told me, ‘You gotta get out and not cry over someone.’ It’s okay to cry and let it out. But then move on and allow everyone in.” Guess we can’t not agree with that advice, we’ve all sworn by it one time or the other.

The actress who believes in the ‘never say never’ philosophy also admitted how she is no longer averse to the idea of ending up with someone from the industry, and honestly, we can’t stop imagining who she’d look best with! Could it be her rumoured beau and upcoming co-star in Shershaah, Siddharth Malhotra or could it be her former co-star and  now single, Vicky Kaushal? Seems like we’ll have to wait and find out!
