It’s not news to anyone that Sara Ali Khan has confessed to having a crush on Kartik Aaryan. The internet was in a tizzy when Ranveer Singh played cupid and introduced them to each other at an award show. We could see sparks fly instantly (or maybe that was just us!)  They even got cast together for Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2, and ever since then the duo has been spotted together several times.

They have been going for bike rides, partying and chilling together. Kartik was also spotted by the media walking out of Sara’s apartment which obviously means something is afoot. You know, like dinner plans.

At another instance, the duo was spotted laughing and holding hands in the backseat of Sara’s car. And very recently, they were seen working out together. They definitely seem to be getting closer (mostly to breaking our hearts!) And though none of them confirmed dating, we have been keeping our eyes on this one, hoping it will materialise into something more meaningful.

But, there may be a spanner in the works. A love triangle in the making. A potential potboiler of Bollywood standards. Okay, we will stop. The twist comes from Ananya Panday playinga key role in this story.  And we might have a love triangle on our hand.  Kartik Aaryan will be seen with Ananya Panday in Pati Patni Aur Woh. And wait for it, Ananya too confessed of having a crush on Kartik! In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, she expressed, “I’m 20 and it’s normal to have a crush on someone. I’m open about my feelings. Yes, I find Kartik cute and I’m lucky I’ve got a chance to work with him.”

Kartik Aaryan, on Neha Dhupia’s talk show, was asked to choose between Sara and Ananya, this is what the actor said: “I know Ananya better right now. I have been working with her, of late.”

Okay, what is going on? Who is seeing who? And who finds who cute? We are not saying they are dating but something is definitely brewing.

Kartik Aaryan even posted a picture on Instagram wishing Ananya luck, with the caption, “Arey arey itni saari taareefein. Congratulations on your big day. Keep brightening up the big screen with your bright smile and cuteness.”

Sara Ali Khan had confessed on Koffee with Karan that she had a crush on him, and when KJo reminded Ananya about this on the same show, she said, “Yeah, so I want to go on that date where Sara and him are going.”

Ananya wants to third wheel? Or wait, is she the main cog in the wheel? Oooh, the plot thickens.

We don’t know what is happening and which new dating trend these guys are following where it’s all very fluid but it is definitely getting interesting by the day. *impatiently waits for the next update*
