Karisma Kapoor Changed 30 Outfits For Her Song, Jhanjhariya. And We Can’t Even Manage One
Karisma Kapoor, who starred in blockbuster films in the 90’s including, Raja Hindustani, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Biwi No. 1, Hum Saath Saath Hai and more is geared up for her digital debut, Mentalhood. The actress ruled the industry back then and some of her brilliant performances stayed with us for a long time after the movie left the cinemas. Karisma Kapoor is also a mother of two and has perfected the art of juggling her professional work and motherhood. Recently, when Karisma Kapoor was at a dance reality show, she took the audience down memory lane and shared details with the audience. Karisma Kapoor revealed that she had to change 30 outfits for a song called, Jhanjhariya and we are shook!

The Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress has done quite a lot of dance numbers in her 22-year long Bollywood career. Karisma Kapoor recalled the time when she was filming a hit song, Jhanjhariya from the 1996 film Krishna.
Sharing her experience Karisma said, “There were two versions of this song – male and female. The male version was shot in a desert in 50 degree heat while the female version was shot over three days in Mumbai. While shooting in the desert, the cast had to dance on the sand which kept flying into our eyes making it very difficult to shoot the song.”

“When we started shooting for the female version, I realised I had 30 outfit changes for that one song. Every look was different with different hair and makeup. The steps were quite tough. So, Jhanjhariya was not only an iconic song but also the most memorable song of my career,” revealed Karisma Kapoor.
Speaking of her upcoming digital project, Mentalhood, Karisma Kapoor will be playing the role of a mother of three and the poster is too relatable! Karisma Kapoor said, “She is a mom, who has a blog where she shares her emotions. Even though she is old fashioned, she is today’s woman.” Ooh, sounds interesting.
