Meet The #HauteSquad: Meghana Choraria
So we’re turning 1 in a couple of days *yay*! Just shy of our birthday, we’ve decided to FINALLY introduce the geniuses behind Hauterfly… ok, we’ve decided to introduce you to the #HauteSquad! So here’s your inside track into who brings you your favourite stories and the madness that goes on at Hauterfly HQ.
Kicking things off is our newest team member, Meghana Choraria, who is fresh out of college all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed about working in our hot young digital startup. Yeah, we’re totally humble like that! *wink*
So what exactly is it that you do?
I am the Social Media Executive for Hauterfly. I’m the bee who brings all the buzz to your screen!
What were you doing before this?
I just got out of college and was deciding between various career options in my head — everything looked so tempting, right from production to PR to law!
How did you get started at Hauterfly?
I was that creep who stalked Hauterfly left, right and centre, and when word got out that they were hiring, I knew I HAD to be where all the action is!
What’s your favourite part about the job?
Work doesn’t feel like work when you’re constantly window shopping in the virtual world or browsing social media for a living. Also, Hauterfly HQ is always buzzing with witty word games that ignite our quirky avatars!
And the least favourite?
Considering we work at a fashion startup, it’s par for the course to be well-turned-out in office. Not that I’m complaining! But if I had my way, I’d happily make PJs and bed head my go-to style statement!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A confident, independent girl who doesn’t need her mother to go with her to the dentist!
What’s the one piece of advice you’d give someone who wants a job like yours?
The next time someone tells you to get off Facebook or Instagram, just give them your best hair flip and tell them you’re prepping for a kickass career in social media! ?

I have a tendency to start singing at the most random moments, and seldom do I realise that I have googly-eyed strangers for an audience!
