Geet, Poo or Kia: Which Kareena Kapoor Character Are You?

Currently, if any actress is in the news (well, apart from Kangana Ranaut), it is the queen of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan. Shutterbugs, fans and just everyone in general, cannot get enough of her extremely adorable son, Taimur.

And today, we celebrate the kick-ass woman that she is. From breaking the Internet with her size zero stint to making a snarky comment with grace, she has done it all. On her birthday today, we look back at some of her amazing roles and characters that definitely stayed with us.

1. Poo – Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham

A heart of gold but savage AF, Poo was the most iconic character played by Kareena. The diva that wants it all and ultimately gets it too. If you’re Poo, you love your family the most, but please keep ’em traditions aside.

The modern aunt, gorgeous girlfriend and a pain in the ass at times… who doesn’t want to be her, right?

2. Pia – 3 Idiots

Level-headed, practical, adjusting Pia from 3 Idiots broke the manliness of the movie that probably is on everyone’s list of favourites. She is calm but if you annoy her, then well, all hell will break lose.

Also, she is as cute as a button when she gets drunk. If Pia’s character resonates with you, trust me, you will love your partner with all your might and will be there for them even when he acts stupid.

3. Kia – Ki & Ka

Breaking stereotypes with every dialogue, Kia was a breath of fresh air amongst the many male-dominated films that the Hindi film fraternity is obsessed with. Independent, smart, holding her ground and a total badass, each one of us could actually take a cue from her.

4. Geet – Jab We Met

This has to be my favourite! Chirpy, bubbly and carefree, Geet taught us how to live life. But, ot without a dose of reality, ’cause you can’t be happy all the time, right? You love the idea of marriage and of course, running after trains.

We all have Geet in us and if you have a bit more than the normal amount, well girl, you are crazy — in a good way!

5. Dia – Gori Tere Pyaar Mein

Keeping her ideologies in check, she would not let any man deter her. And that’s what we should all take away from her character in this movie.

Voicing out your opinions and laying your conditions out on the table doesn’t make you a snob, and if a guy can’t handle that, then too bad for him.
