5 New Restaurants To Watch Out For In Mumbai!

It sure looks like the food business is the place to be in right now! With the number of fancy new restaurants having opened up in the city already, you would think that restaurateurs would be taking a little break now. But no! It looks like the city that never sleeps has a lot more up its sleeve. Here’s all we know and all you need to know about the five upcoming restaurants and bars in Mumbai. Get ready for some more awesomeness to be dished out shortly.

1. Café LMNOPQ

Have you spotted or been to Cafe D’Wine Bar at Khar? Located on 15th Road, this wine bar will be making way for Café LMNOPQ, another wine and beer bar designed to entertain you after a long day.

2. 12, Union Park

It’s time to say goodbye to Shatranj Napoli. Every Bandra family’s favourite food joint has shut down. Expect a brand new gastropub in its place that’s as yet unnamed. The team at the helm is a talented bunch, including Ashok Datwani, owner of Shatranj, Kishore DF of The Big Nasty, and Suvedh Lohia of Mirabella. This new place will be offering up a variety of coastal-themed food and will be opening in September.

3. Toit

Heard of Bangalore’s popular brewery, Toit? It’s arriving in Mumbai soon. The only sad bit about this whole thing is that Toit is going to arrive in place of the iconic Blue Frog in Lower Parel. Toit is slated to open in December. Get ready for some yummy nosh and a round of drinks.

4. Flyp@MTV

Back in December, MTV launched the first outlet of Flyp, a fusion food themed café and bar, in Delhi. Guess what? Flyp will be arriving soon in Mumbai as well. Where? Kamala Mills, Lower Parel of course! It will be handled by renowned Chef Ranveer Brar and also promises stand-up comedy acts, live music, and an MTV merchandise store.

5. Ek Bar

Delhi’s popular joint Ek Bar, headed by AD Singh of Olive Group, is going to be in Mumbai soon. The outlet will open up in BKC or Bandra West. You can find modern Indian bar food here, prepared by Chef Sujan Sarkar, as well as an eclectic mix of cocktails by Nitin Tiwari, a mixologist.
