Jamie’s Pizzeria To Open Its Doors In Mumbai!

Have you fallen in love with blue-eyed British chef Jamie Oliver? It’s hard not to, right? More importantly, have you fallen in love with the delicious food you’ve seen him whip up? Have you ever wistfully yearned for his famous pizza chain Jamie’s Pizzeria (currently in Delhi) to come to Mumbai as well? So have we! And guess what? It’s finally happening!

 

Jamie’s Pizzeria, which currently operates out of Gurgaon, is slated to open in Mumbai come mid-July. The menu at this outlet finds its roots in authentic Italian cuisine. Nothing will merely pass off as pizza here. It’s all about the real thing, i.e. rustic and delicious Italian fare, combined with a twist that only Jamie Oliver can provide. Jamie believes in fresh ingredients of high quality. And the pizzas here are hand-stretched and the sauce is bursting with flavour.

This Mumbai outlet will be opening its doors at High Street Phoenix, Lower Parel in place of Haagen-Dazs, opposite PVR cinemas. So rejoice folks, you now have a brand new place to try out when you visit the mall next. While here, you can expect to find a variety of thin-crust pizzas, salads, and delicious desserts.

The menu at the Delhi outlet boasts of dishes like Funghi pizza, complete with wild mushrooms and smoked mozzarella, and the Chili Freak pizza, including toppings like jalapenos, fresh chilis, and mint. All of this sounds utterly lip-smacking! Whether the Mumbai menu is going to be radically different or similar to the Delhi menu, only time will tell. But we can bet that the pizza at Jamie’s is going to take your breath away!
