If there’s one thing that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, loves about Ramadan, it’s iftari food. You could say it’s the delicious glue that binds together Muslims and non-Muslims.

So, whether you’re fasting or feasting this Ramadan, head to one of these restaurants in Bengaluru to break your fast and don’t forget to be thankful for the bounty of deliciousness that’s going to make its way into your tummy.

Pista House

One of my favourite Ramadan treats has absolutely got to be Haleem, the mouth-watering amalgamation of mutton, spices, and wheat that’s cooked for hours. Get a taste of this Hyderabadi specialty at Pista House, the renowned chain that’s now made its way to namma Bengaluru!

Albert Bakery

From their Ramadan special Brain Puff to delicious Chicken, Mutton, and Veg Samosas, pop over to Albert Bakery for a tasty iftari treat. Although there’s no seating and the bakery is only open from 4pm to 9pm, I would say that it’s completely worth the trek.

Rahhams

An iftar walk would be absolutely incomplete without a visit to Rahhams, a stalwart that’s as famous for its sumptuous biryanis as it is for its delectable kebabs. We also love the fact that it has ample options for our vegetarian friends.

Café Makkah

Perfect for a cup of suleimani chai after a heavy meal, Café Makkah has some of the best tea we’ve had in Bengaluru. If you’re feeling peckish, give their coconut naan and samosas a try! They also serve hareera, which is basically a hot dry fruit milk.
