First Wife Of A Man Shoots And Kills Her Husband’s Second Pregnant Wife. What Is The World Coming To?
Despite what the society will have us believe, I have always been told and reassured by my parents time and again that being born a girl, is a blessing in itself. From enlisting my emotional strength as a power to my vociferous protests of inequality as why they love me for me, they have always made me see the best in myself. But the outside world on the other hand, has always made me think otherwise and with gender crimes coming to the fore everyday, we know we are on shaky ground.
Being a woman in today’s time is being a soft target, that the world and its people can stomp on and walk all over. Earlier, we thought it was just be the men wearing the mask of monsters, but it turns out the women are doing it too. As has happened recently in Uttar Pradesh where a vengeful first wife of a man, shot the pregnant second wife of her husband on the road.
On Monday evening as Mansi Sharma aka Alia was returning home from the pharmacy with her niece, she was cornered by an angry Shabana and shot at close range on the street four times. Both Alia and Shabana were married to a businessman named Zafar, and while Shabana lived with him, Alia was put up in a rented apartment in the same locality.

Alia who was a Hindu before she got married to Zafar a year and a half ago was 7 months pregnant. Shabana did aim the gun at Muskaan, Alia’s niece, but she somehow escaped the bullet after which Alia stepped in to shield Muskaan and was shot a total of 4 times by an angry Shabana who was planning to exact revenge on her for a long time.
Reports share that the gun was provided to Shabana by her husband Zafar, who has been absconding since the incident. The entire horrific scene was captured on video and it shows how an indifferent Shabana kept addressing Alia even when she was down and wincing in pain. This shows the kind of hatred and envy she was filled with, to go to an extent of killing a pregnant woman with no remorse what so ever.
What is the world coming to? We are not sure what caused Shabana to unravel in this manner or whether it was a cold-blooded planned murder, but the entire scene is quite horrifying.
