The Femina Miss India 2019 Will Be Crowned Today. Here’s Everything You Need To Know

I am home alone this weekend, and unlike what used to be my first instinct for when I was 18- call over all my friends for a crazy BYOB party at my pad, I now choose to spend my weekends doing something less crazy and more lazy. I am talking about having the perfect show to binge on TV – the Femina Miss India 2019 beauty pageant.

All set to happen in Mumbai at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, co powered by SEPHORA and Rajnigandha Silver Pearls Jewellery by Senco Gold & Diamonds, this is hands down one of the most sought after beauty pageants, and for good reason of course.

Out of the 30 contestants that compete in this pageant, the top two further move on to represent the country for the Miss Universe and Miss World titles, subsequently. Tonight, Anukreethy Vyas, Miss India 2018 will be seen crowning her successor and we can’t wait to find out who that would be.

The grand finale for the event will be broadcast on Colors Channel at 8:00 pm and all the while live streaming on Jio TV app. The judges for this time around have been Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, Pithor Ganda Singh, Remo D’Souza and Ayush Sharma, Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce, Shahane Picoc, Mukesh Chhabra.

Apart from a word from them, the pageant is all set to see the likes of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal for a fun performance. Word is that Nora Fatehi would also be seen bringing in some sexy with her on the floor. Both Neha Dhupia and Dia Mirza have been active part of this event for years, and remain to be two strong leading mentors for the contestants this time around as well.

As for the hosting, Karan Johar and Manish Paul will be seen hosting the final showdown and honestly, there couldn’t be a better mix of talent, glamour and potential, all at one place tonight. As for us, we’d be staying tuned for more recent updates on twitter to find out, whose stars bring them luck and the crown tonight.

The 2019 pageant is the 56th edition of it. What’s really interesting to us is that Dutee Chand, the sprinter who recently came out is also part of the judging panel.
