Evelyn Sharma’s Proposal Story Has Us Going Aww. Bae, Are You Listening?
I know a few people who don’t really believe in the conventional notion of romance. They say those ideas are a result of advertising, basically agreeing with Don Draper in Mad Men. Now that may be true, in fact, my head says it’s most likely true. But my heart, it’s happy with the chemical effects of love. I love romanticising things and why not? Which is why, I am a sucker for proposals. Each time I see proposal pictures on my feed, I turn into an aww-machine. So when I heard about Evelyn Sharma getting engaged, I was excited like she’s my first cousin or something.
The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress revealed that her bae Dr Tushaan Bhindi popped the question at the Sydney Harbour Bridge and she said a big yes! In fact, it was no ordinary proposal (bae, please read). He brought in a guitarist who played their favourite songs and he got down on one knee to propose. “It was a dream come true! Tushaan knows me so well… his proposal was perfect,” Evelyn expressed.
While we are elated to hear the news of Evelyn engaged, we don’t know much about their love story. Thankfully, she let us in and it’s just really cute. “We met on a blind date last year, which was set up by our good friend. Tushaan is a romantic guy and he’s even more filmy than I am,” Evelyn revealed.

Evelyn Sharma who is half-Indian and half-German, hasn’t played the lead in any movie and yet, she’s always been in the news. Is it because of her charm and cute looks? Maybe. One thing is for sure, she will look gorgeous AF as a bride! However, she revealed that they haven’t decided on a date yet. “We will make a separate announcement for that once the date is set. For now, we would like to enjoy our time together,” she said.

In fact, we won’t be seeing much of her after the wedding, as she intends to move to Sydney, as Tushaan lives there. However, she also revealed that she will have a base in India too. With so many celebs planing to tie the knot – Sushmita and Rohman, Ranbir and Alia and more – we don’t know how we’re gonna keep up. No, we’ve not been invited but it’s not like I would mind. Either way, it’s definitely going to be exciting!
